Privacy notice
What data we process
When creating an account: email address, password (hash only), username, display name. Optional: profile picture, bio. While using the app: recipes, ratings, comments, collections, shopping lists, follows and reports you create yourself.
Login and session
Login is handled by Supabase Auth (Frankfurt region, EU). Sessions are stored in cookies that are strictly needed for login. To prevent abuse we temporarily store a hash of your IP address for rate limiting (at most 24 hours).
Public content
Published recipes, forum posts, comments, ratings and public collections are visible to everyone together with your display name and username. Drafts and private collections are only visible to you. You can restrict your profile in the privacy settings.
Images
Uploaded images are resized, converted to WebP and stored in Supabase Storage (EU). Metadata such as camera information is removed in the process.
Cookies
Leckerplan only sets strictly necessary cookies (session, language). There is no tracking, no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Therefore no cookie banner is needed.
Your rights
You can export your data as a JSON file at any time under Settings → Account (right to data portability) and delete your account yourself. For access, rectification, restriction and objection use the contact in the imprint.
Deletion
When you delete your account, profile, recipes, ratings, comments, collections and shopping lists are permanently removed. Comments with replies from others are replaced by a neutral placeholder.
Hosting and processors
Database, login and image storage: Supabase (EU region Frankfurt). The application itself runs on a server managed by the operator. [Operator: add server location and provider.]
